The jackets are made of sturdy paper material and come shipped in a saran-type wrap in a box. They are suitable to protect your albums but note that they do not have a clear glossy coating and are not suitable for painting or drawing on. The width of the spine is just 1/2 millimeter and only one record should be put in, keeping them safe from binding or buckling. Plus, the spine is wide enough to write the title on with small writing (around 14 font), although it's best to print titles onto labeling tape and stick those onto the spine. Overall, if you're looking for simple and effective protection for your 12" LP records, these jacket sleeves are a great option at a fair price.
