Answer: No idea. I ended up throwing them out after about 1-hour. The mothball smell was so strong that it took over my entire walk-in closet and bedroom and gave me a headache. I love the smell of lavender but I did not detect the scent at all over the smell of the mothballs. I may be overly sensitive to the smell. Other reviewers seem to love the smell. -

Is this safe to just put in my bedroom closet? I have a sliding door with gaps?
Answer: Yes, but what are you worried about? The smell isn’t overpowering. If the smell leaks through the gaps and bothers you, remove the moth bar. One caveat: The moth bar won't be as effective if the closet door doesn't close completely, so try to do something about the gaps.
