With a Lithium Ion internal battery, the unit is lighter than traditional UPS batteries but quieter and works longer. Customers have had mixed experiences with the product. One customer mentioned that this unit is performing as expected and that it was worth it to pay more for the lithium-ion battery. Another mentioned that this unit is well-built, but it made a horrible screeching sound when first plugged in.
