The Cub Cadet spreader comes with all necessary hardware for attachment and use, can work with sand, and controls can be reached from the seat. There is a wire that connects it to a power source. However, there have been some negative reviews where rust has caused issues with the spreader wheel not spinning and clumps being dumped instead of evenly spreading.
