- Compatibility & Replacement Part Number: This 429006-05 thermistor is designed to fit for Hoshizaki FD-1002 series flaker ice machines, including FD-1002MAJ-C, FD-1002MAJ-CB, FD-1002MRJ-C, FD-1002MRJ-CB, FD-1002MRJZ-C, FD-1002MRJZ-CB. It is a direct replacement for the original 429006-05 thermistor and must be used with the matching 427430-01 thermistor holder (sold separately) for proper installation, compatible with Hoshizaki FD series refrigeration systems
- Installation Requirements & Matching Parts: For optimal performance, install the 429006-05 thermistor with the 427430-01 thermistor holder at the 10-2 o'clock position of the suction pipe. Clean the pipe surface thoroughly before installation, apply KE4560RTV sealant (or 4A0683-01 equivalent) to ensure good thermal conductivity, and wrap the entire assembly with non-absorbent foam insulation to avoid environmental temperature interference. Do not cut or pull the lead wire forcibly; follow standard refrigeration sensor installation guidelines
- Fault Replacement & Detection Method: This 429006-05 thermistor solves common faults of ice machines that fit for Hoshizaki FD-1002 series, such as frequent start-stop, uneven ice cubes, compressor overheating shutdown, E1/E2 temperature alarm, and significant reduction in ice production.
