thrustmaster Editorial Review
The Thrustmaster T-flight Hotas X Flight Stick is receiving a generally positive reception among users, particularly for its affordability and performance in various flight simulation games, notably Elite Dangerous. Customers appreciate the accessibility of inputs, allowing for intuitive controls during intense gameplay, especially for partaking in dogfights. The stick's assembly is praised, particularly its detachable components, which contribute to its comfort and ergonomics. Reviews indicate a solid build quality, with many users expressing satisfaction with the overall feel of the throttle and joystick. However, there are some notable drawbacks. While the joystick's sensitivity is appreciated, some users mention a mid-throttle detent that detracts from smooth operation. Additionally, the limited number of buttons can pose a challenge for more complex games like DCS, where users feel they would benefit from having more commands available at their fingertips. Feedback on deadzones varies, with some users citing noticeable dead zones that could affect responsiveness. Despite these concerns, many find this HOTAS setup to be an excellent entry point into flight simulation without overwhelming costs. The overall Consensus is that the Thrustmaster T-flight Hotas X is a reliable and user-friendly product that works well for beginners, though it may not satisfy advanced users looking for the highest levels of performance. **
