Airfix Aircraft A17002 Editorial Review
The Airfix A17002 Supermarine Spitfire Mk.VIII Military Aircraft Plastic Model Kit has garnered a variety of reviews, indicating a generally positive reception among model enthusiasts. Customers have complimented the kit’s quality and detailing, referencing the clean mouldings and the overall craftsmanship. Many reviews highlight the joy and satisfaction anticipated from building the model, suggesting that it is a worthy investment for those who enjoy such projects. However, several users voiced disappointment over specific aspects of the kit. The absence of a pilot figure was noted as a significant drawback, particularly for those intending to display the model in flight; they feel it detracts from the overall aesthetic. Additionally, some reviewers found fault with missing components, such as the instruction manual and stickers, which was contrary to the product description. This inConsistency may pose challenges, especially for less experienced builders, as the kit's complexity was acknowledged, making it less suitable for novices. Despite these criticisms, the general sentiment points to a solid product for dedicated model builders who appreciate detailed work and enjoy a challenge. The value for money received praise as well, with customers indicating that the kit is superior compared to others on the market. **
